Mace has been engaged by Kaufman Hall, an independent consulting firm that offers integrated strategic, capital, and financial advisory services and software tools to healthcare organizations, to provide project management and move management services in Skokie, Illinois.

Kaufman Hall, which currently occupies the entire 7th floor and approximately half of the 2nd floor, will vacate their current space on the 2nd floor in exchange for the entire 5th floor.

Construction includes a refresh of existing space on the 7th floor to accommodate new workstations and an informal lunch space for employees. The west side of the 5th floor will also be renovated to include new private offices and workspace. The east side of the 5th floor will undergo a complete remodelling to allow for new private office space, a break room, multi-purpose room and conference facilities.

The reconfiguration between all floors brings the firm’s total footprint in the building to 50,653 from 36,697 square feet and allows for maximum flexibility and growth.

Mace will lead the design and engineering team during a phased construction schedule in order to maintain the minimum seating requirements while building out the new space. Construction documents will commence in July 2012, followed by construction late this year.

This project will be run from Mace’s US Midwest Regional Office in Chicago.
