Standard Chartered Bank - Facilities Management

Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) is a multinational banking and financial services company with over 1,100 branches, offices and outlets in 68 countries across the globe.

In 2016, Macro won an international Integrated Facilities Management (IFM), Workplace Services and Project Management contract with SCB, and now manages its 4.2 million sq ft portfolio across four continents. The five-year, multi-million-pound commission has seen Macro enter new markets by establishing operations in South America, while expanding in Africa, Europe and the Middle East. Macro will commence operations for SCB in Pakistan later this year.

Services provided by Macro include workplace management, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP), janitorial, reception, security, pantry, mail room, business support, health and safety, and finance and procurement management. Macro will manage risk for services under its own remit and energy management, with central monitoring of energy savings driving the bank’s goals for a sustainable solution. A 24/7 help desk and CAFM service is self-delivered through Macro’s own fm24 business.

The contract extends Macro’s enduring relationship with SCB. In 2009, Macro was initially commissioned to provide IFM services at the bank’s offices in the United Arab Emirates and at its facilities in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In 2011, Macro was appointed to provide all soft services for SCB’s offices in New York and, in 2015, New Jersey.
